Improvement of stability of floating modules

Interprogetti was involved in the analysis of stability related with transportation of RGI floating modules from Kuryk shipyard to Complex D in the Caspian Sea.
The modules stability has been improved by fitting two temporary side sponsons to each module in order to get compliance with minimum safety criteria especially agreed with the relevant Authorities for this project.

Conversion from ore carrier into transhipper

The M/V Ore Fabrica was a single screw ore carrier converted into the world’s largest iron ore transhipper capable of discharging dry bulk cargoes (particularly iron ore) from vessels over 400.000 DWT.
The systems were designed for carrying out offshore crane operations with significant wave height values over 2m and wind speed over 30 knots.
